About the Founder
 Brittany Hunter is a Maryland native, born and raised in Silver Spring . Brittany began her musical journey at 7 years old when she first began taking voice lessons. Brittany continued singing and taking lessons throughout high school and decided to continue pursuing her love of music at the Conservatory at Lawrence University. At Lawrence, Brittany appeared in her first principle role in Lawrence's 2021 main stage opera "Rider's to the Sea" by Ralph Vaughan-Williams. in 2023, Brittany transferred to the University of Maryland College Park in order to finish her degree in vocal performance. At UMD Brittany has had the honor of studying under Professor Kevin Short. While studying at UMD Brittany has worked as St. Andrew's Episcopal Church music intern, and she is proud to have appeared in Stephanie Mercede's experimental operas entitled "Never in Our Image" and "We Shall Not Inherit the Earth". Brittany has been teaching voice lessons for three years and has found an immense love of teaching music and accompanying fellow singers on their vocal journeys. Brittany is incredibly excited to continue both teaching and about the voice and it's many wonders!
